About Me

Mountains

I’m a person-centred therapist who works in a trauma-informed way, offering a safe, warm and supportive space where you can explore challenges, heal, and grow. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I will meet you with empathy, compassion, and respect for who you are and what you bring. As a member of the BACP I work in accordance with their ethical framework.

Inclusivity is central to my practice. I welcome people of all backgrounds and identities, including members of the LGBTQ+ community. My aim is to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.

Before becoming a therapist, my journey was varied. I have worked as an outdoor instructor, a childminder, and a sewing machinist. I’ve also been involved in several charitable organisations, supporting children in care, helping with school fundraising, facilitating a 'Positive Birth Group' and  contributing to a local repair café. Each of these experiences has shaped my understanding of people, community, and resilience.

In my counselling work, I have supported people through many different challenges, including trauma, addiction, physical health problems, and experiences of abuse. These experiences have deepened my belief in the human capacity for healing and growth when given the right support.

At the heart of my work is a simple commitment: to walk alongside you with warmth, empathy, and genuine care, so that together we can find the best way forward for you.
