Introductory phone call
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s important to find the right fit. I offer a free, no-obligation introductory phone call where we can talk through what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and how I work. The call will be up to 20 minutes long and it’s a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for me as a therapist, and decide whether you’d like to move forward together.

In-Person therapy sessions
Meeting face-to-face in a safe and welcoming space can help you feel more grounded and connected in therapy. In-person sessions allow us to share the room together, where body language, presence, and the atmosphere of the space can all support the therapeutic process. For many people, this setting offers a sense of comfort and depth, making it easier to explore challenges and build a trusting relationship.
In your first session we'll make agreements about confidentiality and how we're going to work together. Then we can start to explore what you'd like to get out of your sessions.
Remember that in these sessions you choose direction and pace and I will be alongside you in whatever you choose to explore.

Online therapy session
Online therapy offers a flexible and accessible way to receive support from the comfort of your own space. Using a secure video platform, sessions provide the same level of care and confidentiality as in-person therapy, allowing you to connect in a way that feels safe and convenient. This option can be especially helpful if travel, location, or scheduling make it harder to attend face-to-face sessions.

Outdoor therapy session
Outdoor therapy sessions take place in the natural spaces in and around Kendal, offering the benefits of both counselling and time in nature. Walking or sitting outdoors can help you feel more at ease, reduce stress, and open up new perspectives. Connecting with the environment can make it easier to explore your thoughts and feelings, while movement and fresh air support a sense of grounding and well-being. Outdoor therapy can be a gentle, flexible alternative to traditional indoor sessions.
